Chloe Messer is the founder, designer & maker of maximalist accessories brand Hat & Spicy. The brand was born from her love for the party scene, drag queens & dopamine dressing.

Applying her background in costume design, styling, PR & social media to start up this small business in just over a year. With a focus on sustainability, each fluffy creation is a one off, handmade piece, up-cycled from a pre-loved, thrifted hat; also offering the option to design your own bespoke creation, tailored to express your individual style.

Using cruelty free faux fur, bought from local suppliers and dead-stock fabrics from other designers, with an aim of zero waste by using offcuts to create custom patchwork designs.

Currently in the process of launching a drop of supersize bags & learning the process of making faux fur jackets - there is much more fluffy fun to come in the future for Hat & Spicy. 

Each piece is hand-stitched from her home studio in Hackney, also offering the option to create your own bespoke hat, tailored to express your individual style.
